About Holy Apostles Parent Cooperative Preschool As you compare Holy Apostles Preschool with other preschool programs, you will find that Holy Apostles is licensed by the State Department of Human Services. Going above their requirements, all teachers and the director are trained, Infant and Child CPR certified, and First Aid accredited. In meeting state specifications, all staff members have background checks with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Colorado Central Registry for Child Abuse for your child's protection. In addition, Holy Apostles Preschool is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs - a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Accredidation is voluntary and achieved by only a small percentage of early childhood programs nationally. It assures you of quality well above licensing requirements. At Holy Apostles, each class is headed by a teacher who is aided by an assistant and a parent helper. This gives classes a ratio of one adult to four or five children. The ratio enhances our goals to provide individual attention and develop each child's self esteem. Family involvement is regularly encouraged and required periodically through the Co-op commitment to help in the classroom. Each family must provide an adult member to assist in the classroom once every 6 to 8 weeks. Socials throughout the year provide family members with the opportunity to come together, share ideas, and have fun. These include the Fall Pot Lucks, Christmas Parties, and the February Open House. Included are tuition rates/fall schedules/return the form and fee... If you have any questions concerning classes, call during the morning hours at 591-1566.
